Target Information
Phosphoglucomutases (PGM; EC 5.4.2.2)는 포도당의 1번과 6번 위치 사이의 인산기를 이동시키는 효소입니다. PGM의 아이소자임은 단일체 형태로 약 60 kDa의 분자량을 가지며, 여러 유전자(예: PGM1)에 의해 암호화됩니다. 대부분의 세포 유형에서 PGM1 아이소자임이 전체 PGM 활성의 약 90%를 차지합니다. 적혈구에서는 PGM2(MIM 172000)가 주요 아이소자임으로 작용합니다 (Putt et al., 1993 [PubMed 8257433]). [supplied by OMIM]
