Target Information
KIF7 (Kinesin Family Member 7)는 신경 보호 인자인 vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)에 의해 조절되는 단백질로, 일부 종양 세포의 성장에 자극 또는 억제 효과를 나타냅니다. 이 유전자는 하나의 homeobox와 아홉 개의 zinc finger 도메인을 포함하며, 전사 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다. 정상 증식 조직에서도 발현이 증가하며, p53 활성을 조절하여 특정 세포의 생존성을 증가시킬 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체들이 보고되었습니다.
