Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ETFA is involved in catalyzing the initial step of mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation. It transfers electrons between primary flavoprotein dehydrogenases and the membrane-bound electron transfer flavoprotein ubiquinone oxidoreductase.
Defects in ETFA are associated with type II glutaric aciduria, characterized by multiple acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiencies and accumulation of various organic acids.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
