This antibody reacts with human IgG and not with the human IgG Fab fragment, as determined by IEP and ELISA techniques. This antibody may cross-react with IgG from other species.

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies provide increased versatility by allowing use with multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and can enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to one primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
