This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening for optimal clones.

Target Information

CLEC-14A (C-type lectin domain family 14 member A), also known as EGFR-5 or CEG1, is a 490 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein containing one C-type lectin domain and an EGF-like domain.
The gene encoding CLEC-14A maps to human chromosome 14, which contains over 700 genes and represents approximately 3.5% of the human genome.
Chromosome 14 includes the PSEN1 gene, associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and the SERPINA1 gene, which when defective leads to alpha1-antitrypsin deficiency causing lung and liver disorders.
