Target Information
B cell linker protein (BLNK), also known as SLP-65, is an adaptor protein encoded by the BLNK gene on chromosome 10 in humans. It plays a critical role in B cell receptor (BCR) signaling. BLNK is phosphorylated by Syk kinase upon BCR activation, providing a scaffold for downstream signaling molecules such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency of BLNK leads to impaired B cell development.
