Product Specific Information
Description:
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except erythrocytes and platelets. It plays a critical role in lymphocyte activation through tyrosine phosphatase activity.
Applications Reported:
For use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.03 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Light Sensitivity:
Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.
Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
Excitation / Emission / Laser:
488–561 nm excitation; 695 nm emission; compatible with Blue, Green, and Yellow-Green lasers.
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells. It regulates Src-family kinases, antigen receptor signaling, and cytokine receptor pathways. CD45 isoforms differ by alternative splicing and are critical for lymphocyte development and immune regulation.
