Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells, and binds glycosylated, fucosylated, sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1. These interactions mediate lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV).

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells; use 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Light Sensitivity: Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.
Excitation: 488–561 nm

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor with an N-terminal C-type lectin domain, EGF-like domain, two SCR repeats, a transmembrane region, and short cytoplasmic tail. It is constitutively expressed on leukocytes including lymphocytes, monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells (except some memory T cells).
