Product Specific Information

• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin used as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Verified on human peripheral blood cells and mouse splenocytes; use at same concentration as test antibody.
• Fluorochrome: Super Bright 780, a tandem dye excited by violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 780 nm. Recommended 780/60 bandpass filter.
• Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize polymer interactions.
• Compensation Note: Higher compensation values may occur in violet 450/50 channel when using UltraComp eBeads (Product # 01-2222-42) or AbC Total Antibody Compensation beads (Product # A10497). Prefer cell-based compensation in such cases.
• Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) up to 3 days at 4°C in dark with minimal signal loss.
• Excitation/Emission: 405 nm / 780 nm (Violet laser).

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype and plays roles in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It also regulates immune responses such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition. Widely used in ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunotherapy research.
