Target Information
BRD4는 BET 단백질 계열에 속하는 핵 인산화 단백질로, 인간의 MCAP 상동체입니다. 두 개의 N-말단 bromodomain, 중앙 ET-domain, 그리고 여러 kinase-like motif를 포함합니다. 두 가지 isoform으로 발현되며, 긴 형태는 praline 및 glutamine-rich C-말단 영역을 가집니다.
BRD4는 성장 자극에 반응하여 발현되는 chromatin 결합 단백질로, RFC 및 SPA-1 등의 단백질과 상호작용하여 세포 성장과 유사분열 시 염색체 역학 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 인유두종바이러스(E2 단백질)의 세포 표적 역할을 합니다.
