Target Information
TRAIL-R3 (CD263)는 TNF-수용체 슈퍼패밀리의 구성원으로, 세포외 TRAIL 결합 도메인과 막관통 도메인을 포함하지만 세포질 사멸 도메인은 없습니다. 이 수용체는 세포 사멸(apoptosis)을 유도할 수 없으며, TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포 사멸로부터 세포를 보호하는 길항성 수용체로 작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 해당 유전자는 p53에 의해 조절되는 DNA 손상 유도성 유전자로 확인되었으며, 정상 조직에서는 발현되지만 대부분의 암세포주에서는 발현되지 않아 TRAIL에 의한 선택적 세포 사멸 민감성을 설명할 수 있습니다.
