Granzyme K Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Granzyme K protein.
Target Information
Granzyme K (GrK) is a trypsin-like serine protease localized in the cytotoxic granules of activated T cells and NK cells. It encodes a 28 kDa serine protease whose gene is located on chromosome 5q11–12 near the granzyme A gene. Granzyme K cleaves at basic residues arginine and lysine, and triggers rapid cell death independently of caspase activation. It is primarily expressed in thymus, lung, spleen, and peripheral blood leukocytes.
