Target Information
ZF21은 MT1-MMP (Membrane-type 1 matrix metalloproteinase)의 세포질 꼬리와 결합할 수 있는 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이 단백질은 phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate 결합 FYVE 도메인을 가진 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, focal adhesion(FA) 및 세포 이동을 조절합니다.
ZF21 발현 억제 시 nocodazole 처리에 의해 유도된 FA의 동기화된 해체가 지연되어 ZF21이 FA 해체 과정에 관여함을 시사합니다. 또한 ZF21은 비정형 pleckstrin homology 도메인을 포함하고 있으며, 전이성 암 치료의 잠재적 표적이 될 수 있습니다.
