Target Information
eIF4A2는 DEAD box helicase 계열에 속하는 407 아미노산 길이의 ATP 의존성 RNA 헬리케이스입니다.
이 단백질은 helicase ATP-binding 도메인과 helicase C-terminal 도메인을 포함하며, eIF4F 복합체의 하위 단위로서 단백질 합성 개시 인자로 작용합니다.
mRNA가 43S pre-initiation complex에 결합하는 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하며, HCV(간염 C 바이러스)의 NS5B 단백질과 상호작용하여 바이러스 RNA 합성을 촉진합니다.
대부분의 정상 조직에서 발현되지만, 발현량은 조직에 따라 다릅니다.
