Target Information
Formin-like protein 2 (FMNL2) is a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein belonging to the formin homology domain-containing protein family. It includes a DAD (diaphanous autoregulatory domain), FH2 (formin homology 2) domain, and GBD/FH3 (Rho GTPase-binding/formin homology 3) domain.
FMNL2 may participate in the Wnt signaling pathway and is implicated in morphogenesis, cytokinesis, and cell polarity. It has been associated with diffuse-type gastric cancer, breast cancer, chondrosarcoma, melanoma, and glioblastoma. FMNL2 might regulate actin filament nucleation and cell migration through Rho family GTPase activity.
