Target Information
CSTF2 is one of three cleavage stimulation factors (CSTF1, CSTF2, and CSTF3) that form the CSTF complex, which is involved in the polyadenylation and 3′ end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. CSTF2 contains a ribonucleoprotein-type RNA binding domain and is upregulated during activation of B cells, leading to the switch of IgM heavy chain mRNA from the membrane-bound form to the secreted form.
