Target Information
MINK1 is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the germinal center kinase (GCK) family. It is structurally similar to kinases related to NIK and may represent a distinct subfamily within the GCK family. Studies of the mouse homolog indicate up-regulation during postnatal cerebral development and activation of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and p38 pathways.
