Target Information
Morphine Base is an opiate alkaloid isolated from Papaver somniferum and can also be produced synthetically.
It binds to and activates specific opiate receptors (delta, mu, and kappa), which are involved in controlling various brain functions.
In the central nervous and gastrointestinal systems, morphine exhibits effects such as analgesia, anxiolysis, euphoria, sedation, respiratory depression, and smooth muscle contraction.
