Von Willebrand factor (vWf)는 내피세포와 거핵세포에서 합성되는 공통 당단백질 서브유닛으로부터 유래한 자기응집 구조의 집합체입니다. 단량체 vWf 단위의 분자량은 약 225 kDa이며, 순환 중의 factor VIIIc(항혈우인자)와 결합하여 이를 안정화시켜 정상적인 1차 지혈 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
