Target Information
SLIT and NTRK-like family 5 (Slitrk5)는 6개의 상동성 막단백질(Slitrk1–6)로 구성된 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, 세포외 도메인에 두 개의 보존된 leucine-rich repeat 도메인을 가지며, 축삭 성장 조절 단백질인 Slit과 유사한 구조를 갖습니다. 또한 세포내 도메인은 trk neurotrophin 수용체와 상동성을 보입니다. Slitrk 단백질의 발현은 신경 및 뇌종양 조직에 제한적으로 나타나며, 단백질 패밀리 내에서도 다양합니다. Slitrk1을 제외한 모든 Slitrk 단백질의 과발현은 배양된 뉴런에서 신경돌기 성장 억제를 유도하며, 이는 이 단백질들이 신경돌기 성장 조절에 관여함을 시사합니다.
