This antibody has specificity for Human PSGL-1/CD162/SELPLG.
Target Information
CD162 (PSGL-1) is a 120 kDa homodimer protein found on the surface of leukocytes and platelets. It binds CD62P (P-selectin), CD62L (L-selectin), and to a lesser degree CD62E (E-selectin). These interactions play a critical role in leukocyte adhesion, rolling, and extravasation.
CD162 is also an important immune marker of T cell exhaustion in chronic viral infections and cancer.
