Target Information
HABP2는 히알루론산과 결합하는 세포외 세린 프로테아제로, 세포 부착에 관여합니다. 단일 사슬로 합성된 후 자동 단백질 절단을 거쳐 기능적 이합체로 전환됩니다. 추가적인 절단은 비활성 펩타이드를 생성합니다. 이 효소는 urinary plasminogen activator, coagulation factor VII, fibrinogen의 α 및 β 사슬을 절단하지만 prothrombin, plasminogen, 또는 fibrinogen의 γ 사슬은 절단하지 않습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변형체를 가집니다.
