Target Information
LILRB1 (also known as ILT2 or CD85j) is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located at chromosome region 19q13.4. This receptor contains extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and cytoplasmic ITIM motifs. It is expressed on immune cells and binds MHC class I molecules, transmitting inhibitory signals that regulate immune responses, inflammation, and cytotoxicity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms are known.
