Target Information
IDO1 (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1)은 헴(heme)을 함유한 세포 내 효소로, 트립토판, 세로토닌, 멜라토닌 등의 인돌 고리를 산화적으로 절단하여 키뉴레닌(kynurenine) 대사산물을 생성합니다.
IDO1은 다양한 인체 조직, 대식세포 및 수지상세포(DCs)에 널리 발현되며, 염증 반응 시 인터페론(IFN)에 의해 유도됩니다.
트립토판의 분해 및 고갈을 통해 바이러스, 세균, 기생충의 성장을 억제하며, 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식, 종양 등의 상황에서 면역 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
