Target Information
The NDUFA10 protein is a component of the 42 kDa complex I, the first enzyme complex in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. It has NADH dehydrogenase and oxidoreductase activity, transferring electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Leigh syndrome.
