Target Information

MORG1 is a member of the WD-40 protein family. It functions as a molecular scaffold for various multimeric protein complexes and associates with components of the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway, promoting ERK activity in response to serum or other signals. MORG1 also interacts with EGLN3 (PHD3) and regulates expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1. It has been purified as part of the spliceosome.
