Target Information
Alzheimer’s disease(AD) 환자 중 유전적 형태를 가진 경우, presenilin 단백질(PSEN1 또는 PSEN2) 또는 amyloid precursor protein(APP)에 돌연변이가 존재합니다. 이러한 돌연변이는 아밀로이드-베타의 긴 형태 생산을 증가시켜 AD 뇌의 아밀로이드 침착 주요 성분을 형성합니다. Presenilin은 gamma-secretase 효소를 통해 APP 처리 조절에 관여하며, Notch 수용체 절단에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. PSEN2는 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하는 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이를 가집니다.
