Target Information
NEIL3는 단일가닥 DNA(ssDNA) 또는 부분적으로 단일가닥 구조(버블 및 포크 구조)를 선호하는 DNA 글리코실레이스입니다.
In vitro에서 spiroiminodihydantoin(Sp)과 guanidinohydantoin(Gh) 손상에 대해 강한 글리코실레이스 활성을 보이며, FapyA, FapyG, 5-OHU, 5-OHC, 5-OHMH, Tg, 8-oxoA 손상을 인식합니다.
8-oxoG에 대한 활성은 관찰되지 않았습니다. 또한 약한 DNA-(apurinic/apyrimidinic site) lyase 활성을 나타냅니다.
In vivo에서는 신생 조직의 ssDNA에서 Sp와 Gh를 제거하는 주요 효소로 작용하며, 신경 줄기/전구 세포 및 종양 세포 등에서 세포 증식을 촉진하는 역할을 합니다.
