Target Information
ACTC1은 다양한 세포 운동에 관여하는 고도로 보존된 단백질인 actin 계열에 속합니다. G-actin의 중합은 두 가닥 나선 형태의 F-actin 구조를 형성하며, 각 actin은 네 개의 다른 actin 분자와 결합할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 알파, 베타, 감마의 세 가지 주요 actin 아이소폼 그룹 중 하나인 알파-actin으로, 근육 조직에서 발견되며 수축 장치의 주요 구성 요소입니다. 이 유전자의 결함은 특발성 확장성 심근병증(IDC) 및 가족성 비후성 심근병증(FHC)과 관련이 있습니다.
