Target Information
WDYHV1는 단백질 분해의 N-end rule 경로에서 중요한 역할을 하는 효소로, N-말단 글루타민 잔기를 글루탐산으로 변형시키는 반응을 매개합니다. 이 변형은 단백질이 아르기닐화, 폴리유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 노출되도록 합니다. 내부 또는 C-말단 글루타민에는 작용하지 않으며, 아세틸화된 N-말단 글루타민에도 작용하지 않습니다. 두 번째 위치에 프롤린이 있을 경우 탈아미드화가 거의 억제됩니다.
