Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the TRIM protein family. It has multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif. It may form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding, acting as a transcriptional regulatory factor in carcinogenesis and/or differentiation. It may also function in suppression of radiosensitivity, being associated with the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
