Target Information
TRAIL (also known as Apo-2L)은 TNF ligand family의 구성원으로, 다양한 변형 세포주에서 빠르게 apoptosis를 유도합니다. TRAIL 수용체 패밀리의 네 번째 구성원인 TRAIL-R4는 NF-kappaB 활성화 능력은 TRAIL-R1 및 TRAIL-R2와 유사하지만, apoptosis를 유도하지 못하는 점에서 차이가 있습니다. TRAIL-R1 및 TRAIL-R2와 마찬가지로 이 수용체는 광범위한 조직에서 발현됩니다. 인간 TRAIL-R4 유전자는 염색체 8p22-21에 위치하며, 다른 세 개의 TRAIL 수용체와 함께 클러스터를 형성합니다.
