Target Information
PRRSV는 Arteriviridae 과에 속하며 Arterivirus 속, Nidovirales 목에 포함됩니다. 이 그룹에는 생쥐의 LDV (lactate dehydrogenase-elevating virus), 말의 EAV (equine arteritis virus), 원숭이의 SHFV (simian hemorrhagic fever virus)가 포함됩니다.
PRRSV는 직경 45–70 nm의 작은 외피 바이러스로, 15.1–15.5 kb 길이의 polyadenylated 단일가닥 양성 RNA 게놈을 가지고 있습니다. 게놈은 5' 리더 서열에서 시작하여 최소 10개의 개방형 읽기틀(ORF1a, ORF1b, ORFs 2a, 2b, 3, 4, 5, 5a, 6, 7)을 포함하며, 3' 비번역 영역으로 끝납니다. ORF1a와 ORF1b는 5' 리더 바로 아래 위치하며, 큰 복제 효소 폴리단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 폴리단백질은 자가 단백질 분해를 통해 최소 13개의 작은 비구조 단백질로 절단되며, 그중에는 바이러스 RNA 의존 RNA 중합효소가 포함됩니다.
