Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type-1 Th1 특이 세포 표면 당단백질입니다.
CD4+Th1 및 CD8+Tc1 세포의 말기 분화 단계에서 발현되며, IgV 유사 도메인과 mucin 유사 도메인을 포함하고, 세포질 영역에는 Tyrosine phosphorylation motif가 존재합니다.
TIM3는 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여하며, Th1 매개 면역 반응을 조절하고 면역 관용 발달을 촉진합니다.
병리학적 측면에서 TIM3는 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환인 실험적 자가면역 뇌척수염(EAE)의 발병 및 중증도를 증가시키는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
