Target Information
Brg1 (Brahma-related gene 1) is an ATPase subunit of SWI2/SNF2-like chromatin-remodeling complexes that regulate access of transcription, DNA repair, and replication factors. Although not essential for general cell survival, Brg1 complexes regulate hundreds of genes involved in interferon response, immune differentiation, neurogenesis, and cell cycle. Brg1 is critical for mouse embryogenesis and plays roles in growth arrest, senescence, and tumor suppression.
