• Concentration may vary slightly between lots; refer to lot-specific datasheet for exact concentration.
• Validated for use in Western blot and ICC applications.
• Antibody Specificity: Reacts with heavy chains of chicken IgY and light chains common to chicken immunoglobulins. No reactivity detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. May cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
• Restoration and Storage:
  • Store at 4°C until opened.
  • Restore with 1.5 mL distilled water (final concentration 0.8 mg/mL).
  • Centrifuge if not clear after standing for 1–2 hours at room temperature.
  • Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid.
  • After dilution, use within one day.
  • For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at -20°C.

Target Information

Anti-Chicken secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-defined specificity for chicken immunoglobulins. They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and amplifying signals through multiple binding events.
Typically produced by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and conjugation to generate highly specific reagents.
