For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Major histocompatibility (MHC) class II molecules are transmembrane proteins essential for immune system regulation.
The protein encoded by the RFXANK gene forms a complex with regulatory factor X-associated protein and regulatory factor-5 to bind the X box motif of MHC class II gene promoters, activating transcription.
This complex interacts with the MHC class II transactivator, determining cell-type specificity and inducibility of MHC class II gene expression.
RFXANK contains ankyrin repeats involved in protein-protein interactions.
Mutations in this gene are associated with bare lymphocyte syndrome type II, complementation group B.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, with only one showing activation activity.
