The Applied Biosystems TrueMark STI Plus Combo Kit enables molecular detection through real-time PCR technology, offering an end-to-end workflow for infectious disease research using QuantStudio real-time PCR systems.
Combining a TrueMark panel and a QuantStudio system allows rapid, accurate detection and categorization of microorganisms that cause sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Kit Components

• TrueMark STI Plus Panel: Duplex assays with primer/probe sets specific to Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, HSV1/HSV2, and RNase P genomic regions.
• TrueMark Infectious Disease Panels 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix (No ROX): Ready-to-use PCR mix containing reverse transcriptase, polymerase, dNTPs, salts, and buffer.

Product Use

Qualitative detection and identification of STI-related pathogens in vaginal swabs from individuals exhibiting symptoms of cervicitis or other STI-related inflammation. Detects Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, HSV1/HSV2, and includes an internal control in the same reaction.
