Target Information
C16orf57는 U6 snRNA의 3' 말단 가공에 관여하는 phosphodiesterase입니다. 이 단백질은 pre-U6 snRNA 분자의 마지막 뉴클레오타이드의 poly(U) tract을 절단하여 2',3'-cyclic phosphate로 종결된 성숙한 U6 snRNA 3' 말단을 형성하는 exoribonuclease(RNase)로 작용합니다.
