Target Information

PDIR (protein disulfide isomerase-related protein)은 인간 태반 cDNA 라이브러리에서 최초로 분리된 새로운 PDI 단백질입니다. PDIR은 세 가지 CXXC 유사 모티프(Cys-Ser-Met-Cys, Cys-Gly-His-Cys, Cys-Pro-His-Cys)를 포함하며, 이는 PDI 초패밀리 단백질의 특징입니다. CXXC 모티프는 산화환원효소 활성에 관여합니다. 또한, PDIR은 카르복실 말단에 ER 잔류 단백질의 특징적인 Lys-Glu-Glu-Leu 서열을 가지며, 이는 소포체 내 위치를 나타냅니다. Northern blot 분석 결과, PDIR은 단백질을 활발히 분비하는 세포에서 우세하게 발현되며, 스트레스 유도성 발현 특성을 보입니다.
