Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PKLR encodes a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and ATP, the rate-limiting step in glycolysis.
Mutations or variations in this gene can cause chronic hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia (CNSHA or HNSHA).
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
