IRAK2 (interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase-like 2)는 IL-1 type I receptor에 결합하여 세포 내 신호 전달 경로를 유도하고 전사 조절 및 mRNA 안정화에 관여합니다. IL-1은 IL-1RI와 IL-1RAcP 두 하위 단위를 통해 세포 반응을 유도하며, IRAK 단백질들은 NF-kappa-B 활성화를 매개하여 염증 및 면역 반응에 중요한 역할을 합니다. IRAK2는 IL-1R 및 TLR 매개 염증 반응에서 중심적인 역할을 수행하며, 다양한 인체 조직에서 발현됩니다.
