Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
- The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
- Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
- For longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C.
- Avoid multiple freezing and thawing cycles.
- Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The D1 subtype is the most abundant dopamine receptor in the central nervous system. This G-protein coupled receptor stimulates adenylyl cyclase and activates cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinases. D1 receptors regulate neuronal growth and development, mediate behavioral responses, and modulate dopamine receptor D2-mediated events. Alternate transcription initiation sites result in two transcript variants of this gene.
