Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).


Target Information

The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily includes approximately 600–1,000 members and represents the largest known class of molecular targets with therapeutic potential.
The nociceptin receptor (OPRL1) is a G-protein coupled opioid receptor that binds the endogenous neuropeptide nociceptin. Ligand binding induces conformational changes, triggering signaling via G proteins and modulating downstream effectors.
This signaling inhibits adenylate cyclase and calcium channel activity. Arrestins modulate G protein signaling and activate alternative pathways, including MAP kinases.
OPRL1 plays a role in modulating nociception, pain perception, and locomotor activity regulation.
