Target Information
COPS8는 COP9 signalosome (CSN) 복합체의 구성 단백질로, 단백질 탈유비퀴틴화 효소 및 단백질 키나아제와 상호작용하는 8개의 하위 단위로 구성된 진화적으로 보존된 복합체입니다.
이 복합체는 SCF형 E3 리가아제 복합체의 탈네딜화(deneddylation)를 매개하여 유비퀴틴 리가아제 활성을 감소시키는 등 유비퀴틴 결합 경로의 필수 조절자로 작용합니다.
또한 CK2 및 PKD 키나아제와의 연관을 통해 p53, c-jun/JUN, ITPK1, IRF8/ICSBP의 인산화 과정에도 관여합니다.
CSN8 유전자는 CSN의 가장 작고 보존도가 낮은 하위 단위로, Drosophila 발달 및 말초 T 세포 항상성 유지, 항원 수용체 유도 세포주기 진입에 필수적인 것으로 보고되었습니다.
