Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining consistency across lots. These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a known mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability common in polyclonal production.

Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor associated factors (TRAFs) are adaptor proteins linking TNF receptor superfamily members to signaling pathways, regulating cell death and stress responses. TRAF proteins share homology regions that enable receptor and TRAF-TRAF interactions, activating diverse signaling cascades. TRAF2 and TRAF3 directly bind CD40, essential for NF-kappa-B activation in B lymphocytes, and are also required for CD40 signaling in non-hematopoietic cells. TRAF2 interacts with lymphotoxin-beta receptor (LTβR) along with TRAF3 and apoptosis inhibitors cIAP1 and Smac.
