Target Information
USP13은 탈유비퀴틴화 효소로서, BECN1, MITF, SKP2 및 USP10 등의 단백질 탈유비퀴틴화를 매개하며 자가포식(autophagy) 및 소포체 관련 단백질 분해(ERAD) 과정에 관여합니다.
PIK3C3/VPS34 복합체와 상호작용하여 p53/TP53 안정성을 조절하며, SKP2 및 UBL4A 탈유비퀴틴화를 통해 ERAD를 조절합니다. 또한 SIAH2 단백질의 안정화에도 관여합니다.
시험관 내에서 Lys-63 연결 폴리유비퀴틴 사슬을 선호적으로 절단하며, USP5와 달리 비결합 폴리유비퀴틴 해체 능력은 없습니다. ISG15 절단 능력도 보고되었습니다.
