Target Information
HEYL 유전자는 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 타입 전사인자인 hairy and enhancer of split-related (HESR) 패밀리에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 보존된 bHLH 및 오렌지 도메인을 포함하며, YRPW 모티프는 다른 HESR 패밀리 구성원과 다르게 변형되어 있습니다. Notch 신호 전달의 효과기이자 세포 운명 결정의 조절자로 알려져 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱된 전사 변이체가 보고되었으나, 그 생물학적 유효성은 아직 명확하지 않습니다.
