ITPK1 (Inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate 5/6-kinase 1)는 이노시톨 테트라포스페이트 및 그 하위 대사산물인 이노시톨 펜타키스포스페이트, 헥사키스포스페이트의 합성을 조절하는 효소를 암호화합니다. 이노시톨 대사 경로는 신경관 발달에 중요한 역할을 하며, 본 유전자의 이상은 신경관 결함과 관련이 있을 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한, X 염색체에 해당 유전자의 유사유전자(pseudogene)가 보고되어 있습니다.
