Mouse anti-Rat IgG2a heavy chain antibody, clone MARG2a-1, recognizes the rat gamma 2a immunoglobulin heavy chain and does not cross-react with other immunoglobulin classes or subclasses.

Target Information

Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.
They are generally produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
